Excursion details:
Day 1: HANOI – HALONG BAY (L/D)
AM: 8:00 departure. Visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum, the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Just next door, it is Ho Chi Minh's stilt-house. Lying to one side of the Mausoleum, it is the One Pillar Pagoda, founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049. The structure has become an important symbol of Hanoi people. Continue to visit the Temple of Literature (Quoc Tu Giam), Vietnam’s first university constructed in 1070. Then have lunch.
PM: take the bus to Halong, it takes about 3 hours to get Halong city. Arrive in Halong, check in hotel, relax then have dinner. Free time for leisure or visit Halong city. Overnight at the hotel in Halong.
Day 2: HALONG BAY – HANOI (B/L)
AM: after breakfast, get on boat and cruise to visit Ha Long Bay, pass through emerald water to see many interesting islets with the names same to its appearances like: Lion, Toad, Human Head, Turtle and then stop to go up and get into Amazing cave - one of the most beautiful caves of the Bay with the spectacular stalactites. Lunch on board.
PM: Continue cruising, stop at Ti Top Island for swimming. Around 2:00 pm come back to Halong city and take the bus back to Hanoi, finish the tour at about 4:00pm.
