Remarks: During the months of October, November and all Mondays of the year the Mausoleum Ho Chi Minh in Hanoi will remain closed and will be replaced by a panoramic visit.

Day by day Program
|
Day 1 - HANOI ON ARRIVAL
Arrive at Noi Bai Airport, meet a tour guide and transfer to your hotel, leave your luggage. Free for leisure.
Check in at 14:00, early check – in may have a surcharge applied.
Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2 - HANOI CITY TOUR (B)
Breakfast at hotel.
Take full day city tour of Ha Noi, the highlights will be Ho Chi Minh‘s Mausoleum
(opened from December to September, on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and at weekend) and his living complex, One Pillar Pagoda,Ho Chi Minh Museum, Temple of Literature.
Visit the Fine Arts Museum, Ethnological Museum and Tran Quoc pagoda.
Enjoy the puppet show.
Tonight, take night train to Lao Cai (accommodation on train is an air-con equipped compartment of 4 persons).
Overnight on train (Sleeper Cabin).
Day 3 - LAO CAI – SAPA (B)
Arrive in Lao Cai, have breakfast and transfer to Sa Pa.
Visit Tapin Minority Village on the way. Arrive in Sa Pa.Take a walking tour of Sa Pa
visits the busy market where Red Dao, Black H’mong and other ethnics from surrounding countryside to sell their embroidery, silverware and handicraft and to buy provision.
Afternoon visit nearby hill tribe villages such as Cat Cat & Cau May.
Overnight in Sa Pa.
Day 4 - LAO CAI – SAPA (B)
Light trekking or mountain bike riding to explore some hill tribes surrounding Sa Pa.
Late afternoon transfer to Lao Cai railway station for the night train to Ha Noi. (Accommodation on train is an air-com equipped compartment of 4 persons).
Day 5 - HALONG – IMAGE JUNK (B/L/D)
After having breakfast in Ha Noi, we depart for Ha Long city, the World.
Natural Heritage with over 3000 limestone islands & islets scattering an area of 1500 sq km in Tonkin Bay:
- Boarding and check-in with welcome drink, then the cruise starts through Cho Da, Dinh Huong, Ga Choi and Hoa Cuong limestone islets while a lunch is served on board. Then visit Sung Sot Grotto, the “Cave of Surprises”, before taking a swim in Titov Beach or Soi Sim Beach’s pristine waters. The vessel then cruises further to reach its overnight anchorage location near Ho Dong Tien or Luon Cave.
Enjoy the sunset from the sundeck or while swimming; then a dinner will be served on board. Evening is devoted to relaxing in that peaceful piece of a setting, or to experience night-fishing from the boat’s deck.

Day 6 - HALONG – HANOI – HUE (B/L)
Early wake-up for a breakfast with stunning scenery, then a small boat will take you to visit Luon Cave. Back on board the cruise heads further to Bai Tu Long’s bay passing by Hon Gai’s floating town to view the daily lives of the locals. Lunch is served on board while the cruise goes back to Halong City for disembarking at noon time. End of the cruise.
Drive back to Hanoi and visit Dong Trieu pottery en route. Transfer to Hanoi.
Take a flight to Hue.
Overnight in Hue.
Day 7 - HUE CITY (B)
AHue, used to be the capital of Vietnam from 17th century to 20th century and it now is also the World cultural Heritage site.
Late morning, visit Thien Mu Pagoda, Hue Citadel,
this is the Citadel under the Nguyen Dynasty and over 150 royal palaces built within 30 years. It consists of Imperial City and Forbidden City, which was used by the Emperors and Emperor’s family only. Hue is also well-known during the war in Vietnam as the bloodiest battlefield in 1968 and almost royal palaces in the imperial City were totally destroyed.
Back to hotel and free at leisure. Overnight in Hue.
Day 8 - HUE – HOIAN (B/ L)
AM: visit the Emperor’s tombs of Tu Duc and Khai Dinh. Transfer to Hoi An.
Stop for lunch at Lang Co Beach.
PM: Arrive in Hoi An. Free for leisure.
Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 9 - HOIAN TOWN (B)
Morning city tour of Hoi An visits the Cantonese Communal House, Thien Hau temple, Japanese Bridge and Tan Ky ancient commercial house.
PM: Free for leisure . Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 10 - HOI AN – HO CHI MINH CITY (B)
Free for leisure or shopping. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 11 - HOI AN – HO CHI MINH CITY (B)
Transfer to Danang for a flight to HCMC.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 12 - CAO DAI TEMPLE – CUCHI TUNNELS (B/L)
Depart for Tay Ninh province - about 100km from Ho Chi Minh City. Tourists will visit The Great Temple of Caodaism; a new religion found in later 1930s in Vietnam as the combination all religions together, Cathelic, Budist, Mosque, Taoist and so on. A mess at noon time is a must to see as the highlight of the trip.
Back to Cu Chi Tunnels - 70km Northwest of HCMC - well-known with a system tunnels deeply underground with several floors, seeing document film, getting inside tunnels “as an architectural structure”, visiting Hoang Cam smokeless kitchen, many fighting bunkers, some booby traps, firing gun with real bullets (personal) at National Defense Shooting Range Sport, enjoying the guerilla’s food and tea, visiting rice paper village where tourist can learn how to make it.
Overnight in HCMC.
Day 13 - HO CHI MINH CITY FREE DAY (B)
After breakfast, you will have free day to explore the city yourself or you can choose the below option.

Afternoon, start our Vespa tour of modern-day Ho Chi Minh City will give you a view of greater Saigon unlike anything you'll see from the hot, crowded interior of a tour bus, and much more of the city than you could see on your own.
Tour includes: People’s Committee building, Rex Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Central Post Office, CIA building on Dong Khoi, Opera House, ferry District 2, Emperor Jade pagoda, Francis Xavier Church, Thien Hau pagoda. Guests ride pillion behind our drivers.
Overnight in HCMC.
Day 14 - CAI BE – VINHLONG – SA DEC (B/L/D)
Pick up at hotel in Saigon City and drive to Cai Be Boarding at Cai Be at noon.
The excursion starts from Cai Be town pier at around 10.00 am. Upon embarkation on your sampan-hotel, you will be welcomed with fresh cotton towels.
After your installation, the cruise will begin with the visit of Cai Be colorful floating market cruising among local barges full of fruits and vegetables. Visits will be made at an ancient mandarin house dating from 1890 where you will we welcomed by the owner. Further, another stop at some local home factories will allow you to observe how rice paste, coconut candies and other specialties are traditionally made. We will proceed to Phu An hamlet, an untouched beautiful area reflecting some of the best sights the Mekong Delta can offer.
A delicious lunch will await you at "Le Longanier", a superb Indochinese villa located by the river, in a lush tropical garden surrounded by fruit plantations.
After lunch, your sampan will proceed to Sa Dec cruising the Tien Giang river, one of the two large arms of the Mekong. These evergreen islands among the Mekong River bring about large networks of meandering rivers, criss-crossed with countless arroyos, and remaining unknown to many people. We will then cruise on a small beautiful canal through water jacinth plantations… You will take a small rowing boat for a cruise along a narrow canal passing by a local tiny village and fruit plantations. Further on the banks, some dark smokes in the sky will lead us to one of the largest artisanal bricks and tiles factory where you will have an interesting visit. Sa Dec town will appear like a little “Venice” with numerous narrow canals. You will disembark for a very interesting visit at a beautiful ancient house or “Nha Co” dating from the early 19th century, home of Ong Huyh Thuy Le, former “lover” of famous French novelist Marguerite Duras…. Back on board your sampan, you will be served a delicious dinner. First night on the Mekong river.
Day 15 - SA DEC – LONG XUYEN – CHO MOI (B/L/D)
Overnight on Cruise “Song Xanh Cruise”.
The breakfast will be served on board at 07am. You will disembark for a guided visit of this charming and peaceful town, walking along its narrow streets where beautiful French old
houses, Chinese temples and Vietnamese Dinh are dating from the last century… You will visit the local market, one of the most attractive in Vietnam. Back on board, your sampan will slowly leave Sa Dec and proceed the cruise upstream to Long Xuyen, a peaceful provincial town located on the Mekong banks. We will pass by several luxuriant islands, crossing countless sampan boats carrying sand, rice, fruits and vegetables, fishes, showing an
intense activity on the river. Approaching Long Xuyen, your lunch will be served on board.
Later, you will have a quick tour of Long Xuyen typical center before cruising further to “Cu Lao Ong Ho” (The Tiger Island) for a visit at Ton Duc Thang museum, second president of Vietnam… We will proceed upstream on the Mekong river to Chau Doc. Some stops on the
banks will be possible for cycling tours to discover deeper the inhabitants life style.
In the evening, we will organize for you an exciting experience at an ancient house
located by the river in the suburbs of Cho Moi, where your dinner will be arranged.
You will be able to share experiences with family members and learn about traditional
Southern Vietnam lifestyle, one of the highlights of your journey on the Mekong
which should not be forgotten! Back on board your private sampan for your second night on the river.
Day 16 - CHO MOI – CHAU DOC (B)
Early morning, your breakfast will be served on board while we will be cruising to Chau Doc.
We will cruise on a little arm of the Mekong where several traditional activities can be observed on the factories, bamboo baskets making, palm leaves cutting, net fishing), as well as old Vietnamese temples dating from late 19th century.
We will reach Chau Doc late in the morning. Located on the upper Mekong Delta, the town is 280 km south-west of Saigon on to the Cambodian border. With such proximity the local population is an eclectic mix of Cham, Khmer, Chinese and Vietnamese sharing different cultures and historical richness. At around 11am, you will disembark at Chau Doc main city pier. End of services.
During the cruise, fresh cotton towels, exotic seasonal fruits, hot green tea and two bottles of mineral water will be served daily free of charge
Our guide and vehicle will transfer the clients to Chau Doc. Overnight in Chau Doc.
Day 17 - CHAU DOC – PHNOM PENH (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
07:00: Transfer to the pier for the morning boat to Phnom Penh.
12:00: Arrive at Phnom Penh and transfer to hotel.
Phnom Penh city tour: National Museum, Silver Pagoda, Royal Palace and Wat Phnom..
Dinner and overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 18 - PHNOM PENH – SIEM REAP (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel.
Morning visit Tuol Sleng and Russian Market.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Transfer to Phnom Penh airport for flight to Siem Reap.
Arrive at Siem Reap airport and transfer to hotel for check in.
Dinner and overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 19 - SIEM REAP (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel.
Visit to South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.
Afternoon visit Angkor Wat temple until sunset.
Dinner at local restaurant with Apsara Dance Show.
Accommodation at hotel.
Day 20 - SIEM REAP – DEPARTURE (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel.
Visit Banteay Srey and Banteay Samre temples.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Visit Ta Prohm, Neak Pean and Preah Khan temples.
Check out 11:00 – 12:00, leave you luggage at the hotel.
Transfer to International Airport for your flight.
Fly back to UK or any destinations.
