Day by day Program
|
Day 1 - HANOI ON ARRIVAL
Arrive at Noi Bai Airport, meet a tour guide and transfer to your hotel, leave your luggage. Free for leisure.
Check in at 14:00 (If there is a room available, you can check in earlier).
Overnight in Hanoi.
Dien Bien Phu Loop and Northwest 6 days: “Hanoi – Son La – Dien Bien Phu – Phong Tho – Sapa – Hanoi”.
A complete experience in Northwest Vietnam will take you to the most beautiful mountain region in the country. A great trip to see the ethnic minorities dots the Northern territories.
Note: Travelling to mountainous region involving a lot of time on road but compensated by unique scenery and amazing landscape. However, some part of the road may be damaged or an eventual land slide in rainy season may cause some delays and make the transfer less comfortable and longer. Accommodation or restaurants are often basic (except Sapa), however, those mentioned in program are the best choice of the region.
Day 2 - HANOI CITY TOUR (B)
Breakfast at hotel.
Take full day city tour of Ha Noi, the highlights will be Ho Chi Minh‘s Mausoleum (opened from December to September, on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and at weekend) and his living complex, One Pillar Pagoda,Ho Chi Minh Museum, Temple of Literature.
Visit the Fine Arts Museum, Ethnological Museum and Tran Quoc pagoda.
Enjoy the puppet show.
Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3 - HANOI – SON LA (B/L/D)
Pick up at hotel. Drive to Son La via Mai Chau. Continue to Son La through
picturesque scenery with stunning views. Lunch en route.
Dinner and accommodation.
Day 4 - SON LA – DIEN BIEN PHU (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Drive from Son La to Dien Bien Phu. Lunch at local restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit historical sites around Dien Bien Phu Dien Bien Phu city.
including Dien Bien Phu Museum, the notorious hill A-1 battlefield, the former French command post and a captured tank.
Dinner and accommodation.
Day 5 - DIEN BIEN – MUONG LAY – PHONG THO (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel.
Drive to Phong Tho (Paso) via Muong Lay through absolutely spectacular
scenery, stop visiting minority villages of White Thai and H’mong en route.
Lunch en route.
Phong Tho offers fine opportunities for hiking, with Hmong and Dzao hill
tribes in the area.
Dinner and accommodation at a basic guest house (Lan Anh 2).
Day 6 - PHONG THO – TAM DUONG – SAPA (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the guest house.
Drive from Phong Tho to Sapa via Tam Duong, another breathtaking location
with a bowl of terraced rice paddies ringed by mountains, an excellent place for hiking. From Tam Duong, drive through more stunning scenery into the mountains and rolling hills winding up to Sapa.
Lunch at local restaurant on the way.
Dinner and accommodation.
Day 7 - SAPA – TAVAN – CATCAT (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. An 8 kms ride on the rim of a deep valley followed by 30-minute walk take you to so-called rattan bridge & the ethnic Ta Van village which is dwelled by Dzay people. Continue walking to Cat Cat village.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Dinner and accommodation.
Day 8 - SAPA – LAO CAI – HANOI (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel. Drive from Sapa to Lao Cai to board the day train bounding for Hanoi.
Lunch box. Arrive Hanoi late evening.
Return to Hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 9 - HANOI – DEPARTURE (B)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Free for shopping or excursion. Check out before 12:00.

Ninh Binh is a province at the North East of Hanoi in the Red River Delta.
Ninh Binh nowadays is a famous destination which attract more and more tourists come here to visit its beauty
landscapes and historical in structures such as: Hoa Lu (the old capital of Vietnam which is dedicated to the King Dinh Tien Hoang
and Tien Le dynasty), the temples of King Dinh and King Le, Phat Diem cathedral, Bai Dinh pagoda, Cuc Phuong national park, etc...
Itinerary:
AM: 8:00hrs depart to Ninh Binh, Hoa Lu
Visit the temple of King Dinh and King Le. Go to Tam Coc, have lunch here.
PM: keep traveling, visit TamCoc – BichDong which has known as another name “Inland Halong Bay”.
Go by boat to visit the beauty of the limestone mountain and get into 3 caves: Hang Ca (the first cave), hang Hai (the second cave)
and Hang Ba (the third cave). Such a fabulous day trip, you’ll have a really relaxing time on the way past green rice fields,
along waterways and through underground passages.
Back to Hanoi around 6:00 PM.
